Ben FoleyWriter, chess player, geographer, and inquisitive travelerGreetings, eager travelers and anxious bookers and reservers and planners! My name is Ben Foley, the name of an ordinary teen who's traveled ever since he's been alive. I primarily go places to play a game I love, chess, but more often than not I arrive with no purpose in mind.
The most promising and successful of travelers often possess a natural love of geography and maps. In 2013, 2014, and 2015, I placed seventh, third, and second (respectively) in the Indiana Geography Bee, a competition run by the National Geographic Society. Having participated, I learned much about the world, and it therefore inspired me to not just study those places on the Internet, but to physically travel to them. With this up-and-coming Weebly blog, I hope to encourage others to embark on adventures and witness experiences with minimal anxiety or stress. Readers will find posts about my own journeys around the globe, but most will revolve around easy, stress-free travel planning tips, techniques, and websites. The browsing and booking of hotels, restaurants, and things to do will be a focus. Enjoy the blog! Wishing all followers a safe and exciting season of adventuring. |
